Many habits can be improved for both horse and owner/rider by establishing and enhancing communication between horse and human on the ground. This training includes but is not limited to round pen work, lunging on and off a line, leading, and basic liberty introductions. An initial assessment is free of charge. Rates begin at $30 per session. Will travel within 90 minutes of Grants Pass, Oregon, for a single horse for an additional fee. Will consider farther travel for groups of 3 or more.
Want to learn your way around a horse? Maybe it's a lifelong dream or a hobby you want to revisit, but you want to brush up on your basics? Learn circuit worthy grooming habits, tacking and care of tack and equipment, basic medical care, lunging, nutrition, wrapping techniques, and more. $20 for a 40 minute lesson.
These lessons are offered to riders with access to their own horses and riding area. I do not have a lesson horse on property at this time but do allow haul-ins if you don't have a place to ride. I teach beginner levels through big eq and derby competitors, and will coach at shows. I specialize in helping horses/riders who struggle with rating/adjustibility on the approach to a fence, as well as trouble between fences, and also restarting horses recently off the track. I will travel within one hour of Grants Pass, Oregon for a single client, and will consider traveling farther for groups of 3 or more. Resume and references available on request. In-house training and/or rehab board
Full care board including feeding up to 4 times per day. Custom nutrition plan will be created and alland all feed/supplements provided. Stall/pasture picked twice daily. Private turnout. Training sessions (ground work and/or under saddle) provided 4 times per week at minimum. Medication/wound care/rehab services can be provided. Board begins at $500 per month for rehab board, $600 per month for training board.
Services offered for livestock/equine farms of all types. Care services can include but are not limited to feeding/watering, cleaning, maintenance, turn-out, handling, blanketing, medication, wrapping, wound treatment, and more. Rates depend upon commute distance and services needed, and begin at $25 per day.
